Shikas : It translates to misery thus when your bestie asks you to pour tea from the kettle and you accidentally pour it on table instead of the cup, that's when Shikas can be used, but should be avoided when with parents.
Also a Shikas-lad translates to misery stricken which can be used to curse someone or to simply say how his or her (then it would be shikas-laddien) state of affairs are.
